CashLog (the “App”) values users’ privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations. This Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is used, and how long it is retained.
| Type | Information | How It Is Processed |
|---|---|---|
| Required | User name or nickname | Entered directly by the user |
| Optional | Google Drive backup connection information | Processed according to the user’s choice when using the Google Drive backup feature |
| Optional | Information necessary to generate transaction entry candidates from notifications allowed by the user | Processed on the device when the user allows notification access and enables the entry assistance feature |
The App stores household finance data primarily in the local database on the user’s device. If the user uses the Google Drive backup feature, backup data is stored in the user’s own Google Drive account. The operator does not collect or store personal transaction data on a separate server.
Personal information is retained on the user’s device until the user deletes the App or directly resets the data. The retention period of data backed up to Google Drive is managed directly by the user.
If retention is required under applicable laws, the information may be retained for the period required by those laws.
Unsaved entry candidate data is not registered as a transaction record and is deleted from the device when the in-app processing purpose is completed.
The app does not provide users’ personal information to third parties through a separate server operated by the app operator. However, when a user uses the Google Drive backup feature, backup data is stored in the user’s own Google Drive account, and Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy may apply.
In addition, third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob may be used to provide advertisements within the app. In the course of providing advertisements, advertising identifiers, device information, app usage information, ad impression information, and ad click information may be processed by Google or its advertising partners.
Users may exercise the following rights at any time.
The App accesses notifications allowed by the user only when the user directly enables the entry assistance feature. This feature analyzes notifications on the device to suggest entry candidates.
The app may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob for service operation and monetization. In the course of providing advertisements, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process advertising identifiers, device information, app usage information, ad impression information, and ad click information.
Such information may be used for purposes such as providing personalized advertisements, measuring ad performance, preventing fraudulent activity, and improving ad quality. The app operator does not separately store advertising identifiers or related advertising data on its own server.
Users may change advertising-related settings, such as resetting the advertising ID or limiting personalized ads, through their device settings. Google’s handling of advertising data is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and advertising-related policies.
If this Policy changes, notice will be provided in the App or on this page.
